Are these shakes ok?

These are locarb shakes from Boots (UK) they come in strawberry and chocolate.

ingredients:
strawberry: water, milk protein (calcium caseinate), sunflower oil, whey protein concentrate, inulin, flavouring, stabilisers (cellulose gel, carrageenan), acidity regulator (dipotassium phosphate), mineral blend (i can't be bothered to type them all out) vitamin blend (again, a huge list), colour (carmine), sweetener (sucralose)

chocolate: the same as strawberry but with cocoa powder after the whey protein concentrate.

are they suitable for induction, if you include the polyols in the net carb count?

No shakes, bars, or other "low carb" packaged products on induction. Stay away from them! They may cause you to stall, having uncontrollable cravings, and other problems.

Stick to the book and the list of acceptable foods ONLY!

Shakes unfortunately tend to stall, but some do lose while incorporating them. Just to be safe and to avoid any malarkey, I would nix them during Induction and stick with the rules.

By the way, I love Boots and that sugar-free brand as well. Their chocolate bars are spectacular. Here's a photo of me taken at the Boots in Greenock last month! I'm a La Roche-Posay/Vichy/Garnier/Ombrelle fiend, so drugstores outside the U.S. I just love.
