  • What is going on??

I am on my fourth day of induction and feel absolutely terrible. I feel extremely naseous (sp??) and have had to force myself to eat food all day. Based on other threads I would diagnose myself with induction flu;however, I have had very mild symptoms of induction flu before today. Is it normal for induction flu to get worse?

Here is what I have eaten today (literally had to force it down my throat as I have had no appetite all day)

Breakfast: Two Eggs with half cup of mushrooms and half cup of spinach

Lunch: Two cans of Tuna with mayo

    Snack: four cherry tomatoes

Dinner (have not eaten it yet): chicken salad

And I have drinken between 60-70 oz. of water...

Please let me know what is going on!!!
    Thanks!

Yep, sounds normal. Should be over in a day or two. Just hang in there!

Some people don't feel the flu-like symptoms for a few days, for others it starts within 2 days.

Everyone is affected differently by the 'induction flu' but most people if they get it at all find it diminishes by the end of the first week.
Just a quick comment on your menu - looks good except for the snack of cherry tomatoes on their own.
When you have your veggies make sure you have them with some kind of fat to counteract the 'hit' they will give you. Maybe have some cream cheese with them (my favourite at present) or some mayo or other highfat dressing.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
