  • Eeeek!

Hi all. I have to say right away that I love this board. Thanks for all of the input.
I am SUPPOSED to be on my 11th day of induction. As of 2 days ago, I had lost 7 pounds...and was feeling pretty good about that. Then...geez...I went to a party with my hubby Sat. night, and....drank crown royal. And I never drink. Even my husband couldnt believe it...so...after a few shots of crown, I went and ate a handful of cookies. Go figure. I drink once a year, and this time, I drank AND ate cookies. Then last night was my moms b-day, and I had 3-4 bites of creme brule. (Dont think I spelled that right) So as of this morning, Ive gained 2 pounds back. Back on track I go. I feel like a weiner. I was 145 pounds Saturday morning, now back to 147. My goal weight is 115-118. Then I can wear all of my clothes again!
    Thanks for "listening."

Oh wow! What is it about alcohol and this WOE? I never, ever drink, maybe once a year I'll have a glass of wine. But I went to a party recently, everyone was drinking white russians, I wanted one soooo bad! I didn't have one, but I couldn't even understand why it was tempting me! Of course once you have some drinks and get tipsy, you aren't gonna have control over your eating. Well, it sounds like you got hold of yourself and you are back on track, drink lots of water to flush your system! Good luck!

I think people with alcohol "Wants" so to speak are people who have grain intolerances maybe? You won't really find out until that time during OWL, but it would make some sense I would think.

That is an interesting idea, I never thought of grain intolerance! When I move on to OWL, I'm just gonna stay away from alcohol. One reason I don't drink is because I can get drunk on two drinks, I mean under the table drunk...I wonder if that is a sign of grain intolerance too?
