Okay, the last two weeks have been amazing. I am little a tired but that's because I stay up till 2 a.m. and get up at 7. Anyway, I have been working out everyday, drinking my water and eating good. I will be honest and let you know that I made induction work for me by allowing myself a beer a couple times and I also had a handful of chips and an icecream, but that's what I wanted and I still lost 16 pounds. I feel good about my weight loss and I am going to do an extended induction, tweaked my way for what is right for me. I did go out and by carb friendly foods. Suprisingly I am not as hungry as I was before. I mean I don't crave a ton of sugar or breads and when I do I don't beat myself up, I just find something very low in carbs and take a couple bites (hey beats the old way).
I am not on here to be a perfect Atkins dieter. Simply because I'm not seeking that. I just wanted to cut down on sugar and I did that. The hardest thing about this diet is that I miss pizza. I love it, but I found alternatives to having pizza and I plan to try it in few days.
Anybody can do this diet. It's very easy but I find that it can be expensive. Meat and veggies are not cheap but good food never is.
My advice for the two week induction is to make sure you try and exercise daily and drink a lot of water (this flushes your system out). Also, try to always remember why you want to loose weight. My reasons are to look and feel 30, not 50.
Anyway, I must get ready to go. I am actually meeting w/ a personal trainer today (for freee, which I love that).
Later,
Chris
