Good job <3 You should be very proud of yourself!! I usually just keep doing induction...two years ago when I did this, I just stuck to the 20 carbs a day thing. Kinda crazy, but it worked for me!
God does not take you through the valley unless he is leading you to the moutain top
Well done Shrinking Violet - you certainly have started to shrink
Keep up the good work

I hope you dont mind me commenting on this statement jenny
The people who do Atkins by following all 4 stages rather than repeatedly doing induction till they reach goal are the ones most likely not to need to come back here for another period of weightloss.
During the stages of Atkins as laid out in DANDR 2002 they learn how their body reacts to different foods and retrain their body to eat so that they can maintain their goal weight for life without ever having to 'diet' again.
This time why not move on to OWL and premaintenance while you lose weight so when you reach goal you will be able to do the same.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies? Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Congratulations shrinking Violet!!
I'm staying on EI until I've lost another 20lb - My target weight is still about 14-18lb's over what my height-weight-ratio thingy is for me, so I'm going to see how it goes - I've still got a margin to stay on one of the other stages for longer. But I personally wouldn't stay on EI until I reach my target weight.

Wow! You are doing really well. I started at 260, I'm now down to 219. I've been on extended induction the whole time because I had so much to lose, once I get below 200, I'll move on to OWL. Congrats and good luck!
