  • Day 3 Checking in...

    Day 3-cheat free! I was tempted a few times and almost didn't resist, but I did! Those chocolate chips won't get me. I also exercised at home, which I don't like but I didn't want to miss today since I might miss Friday.


    How is everyone else doing?

    I'm on day 5 close to day 6 and I'm doing pretty well. No cheating whatsoever. This isn't the hard part though. The hardest part will be going back home to my parents house (im 400mi away at summer school), where they have a pantry of bad food! This is why I messed up last time. Since starting, I havent really been exercising except for mabey walking 40 minutes a day to my classes. But I finally went to the gym! Weird coencidence but someone invited me to my schools gym. I took it as a sign and went!

      Day three down................... and CHEAT FREE also ! Thanks for checking... you are doing great too! but you are doing better than me.... you havent touched that scale have you ? I cant stay off of it ! I have a wedding to go to on Saturday and am scared to death, can you imagine ? lol what tyes of things are you eating ? yesterday I was soo busy, work, then had to go shopping.... in the mall my daughter had a slice of Pizza and I didnt even take a bite ! was looking at getting a salad but was afraid that maybe some hidding fillers or something........... so I had a sip of a diet coke and had a few slices of porkroll when I got home. Ok, time to wake up the troops........... uuuggghhh another day !

        hey, i am new at this diet just day 4 into the induction, can anyone advise on what i can dring instead of water that will not be packed full of carbs?.

        I have not cheated as such apart from one glass of wine in the evening when the rug rats are in bed.

        would be greatful of any response.

          Hi ttugurl,

          WTG on going to the gym. I would def say that is a sign. I would just make sure to stock your own portion of foods at your parent's house when you go home and try to stay away from their evil cupboard. I remember those long walks across campus. Sure worked to keep me toned when I was in school.

            I haven't touched the scale....BUT...I just checked my carbs in fitday and saw that I had 27, 25 and 23 over the last 3 days ! Ugh! So, obviously I am not eating right and don't want to pass that on. I thought I was doing great, barely eating anything but maybe my cheese snacks should be replaced with vegs. I am going to try that today and see if my carbs can come down. I'm still waiting on my DANDR book to arrive-should be soon!

            A wedding is def motivation! I am def missing coke zero! I am wondering if we can have that crystal light sunrise. I need something besides water. Are you noticing that your mouth is actually dry and you need water? Pretty interesting. I haven't been able to find pop with splenda. Gotta do a search and read up on this site some more.

            Good luck with day 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

              I am wondering the same thing. I think someone mentioned diet 7 up is made with splenda. I am hoping someone will reply!

                I love sparkling water. Carb Free ! I also like Tropicana Sugar Free Orangeade ! and I drink Turkey Hill Diet Ice Tea and 70 oz's of water !
