Hello! Having spent the past ten years or so overweight -- from 'curvy'to 'whoa, what happened' in one easy step and via three pregnancies -- I am now on Day 4 of Induction. I'm so pleased I found this place - where I am (London, UK), Atkins has become kind of discredited... but I've read the book cover to cover and I'm a believer. No weight loss so far (I don't think - am avoiding the scales) but today for the first time the blinding headache I've had for three days has gone and I'm feeling pretty good.

That's all, just wanted to introduce myself!

    Re: Newbie

Welcome to !!! Great job on hanging in there and working your way through the tough initial phases of induction. It will get better, I promise!!

Also, good on ya for educating yourself and not falling for the media opinion of the moment. I am also a believer in this WOL, as I've made goal and feel better than ever! Everytime I do put some bad carbs in my body, I remember how crappy I felt all the time.

So congrats, and keep it up! Keep us updated on your progress and let us know if you have any questions or need some help. This is one of the greatest sources of information and support for Atkins. GOOD LUCK!!
