  • Hi again, induction! lol

So I learned a very important lesson in life recently - NEVER quit Atkins!

I thought it was safe - I stopped this WOL on a vacation and then never got back on - well that was in the beginning of June.... I've gained ALL of my weight back basically. Back in the beginning of the year I weighed 248lbs and lost enough to get down to 210.
Now I'm back to 240. And I didn't overeat. I just stopped excercising and ate whatever I wanted. Stupid idea.

So yesterday I started Induction again, and I'm not stopping!

I know I can find the info and the support needed on this board, so here I am posting again!

Welcome Back. I think a lot of people do like you and I. Think you can handle everything on your own and not go through all the phases. I learned this the hard way as well. I restarted the induction today and plan to do it until I am 15 pounds to goal and then move on to the OWL. Good luck.

Good on you for trying again too!
I think my initial problem was that I was constantly scared of OWL and never really moved onto it, thus limiting the variety of foods, and since I binged on my vacation (fried flounder and hush puppies galore) I couldn't shake the desire for ALL foods.

Good luck to you, you'll do it!

Don't be scared of OWL.. It is great. I highly recommend people move to OWL instead of staying on induction while they lose all there weight.

your a perfect example of why you have to work your way thru the rungs, once you do a clean induction. Atkins is all about changing your eating habits and your life. Taking your time to learn this and work on changing bad habits will mean that you wont ever again have to do induction and start all over. I wish you the best of luck. And, remember, you can do this, its for the rest of your life not just to lose weight.

I'm back and i need to stick with it because...

I know it works I just need to get my head in the right place and be prepared. I have worked out an entire weekly menu too. How do I get the weight loss chart at the bottom of my post?

If you go to www.tickerfactory.com or another of the ticker sites you just choose your ticker scale and marker and enter your start/current/goal weights.
It will give you a url (starting http that you can enter into your signature block between image tags ([img][/img] - no spaces). Each time you want to change your current weight you repeat the whole process.
To edit you signature block go to 'User CP' and choose 'edit signature'

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
