  • Heavy Whipping Cream

I found some new recipes that cause for 1 cup. How much is too much in a day? Thanks.

    Re: Heavy Whipping Cream

Heavy cream is listed 2 times in the Induction Acceptable Foods list.
Once under Beverages, where it is limited to 1 to 2 tablespoons daily. The other time it's listed under the "Special Category Foods" at 3 fluid ounces, a little less than 1/4 cup. The Special Category Foods are in the special category because they have been known to cause weight loss slow downs and weight loss stall.

Almost recipe that requires more than the legal amount of cream can be easily altered by substituting half the amount of cream with water.

        Re: Heavy Whipping Cream

Is the recipe for just one serving?
If it is for say 8 servings then you would only eat 1/8th of it in one day and the cream eaten would only be 1/8th cupsworth.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

It is for 8 servings. Thanks. I didn't think of it that way. That is why I ask questions on the board for help.
