quick question.

  • quick question.

    I have eggs and i have hamberger patties and steaks i plan on getting a few vegies from the list and some cheese.

    If i eat (4) eggs for breakfest

    hamberger pattys (no bun) with cheese on it. maybey some manayes

    and then the steak for dinner.

    what do you think about that? i can still eat as much as i want at least till i get satisfide (not stuffed) right?

    Sounds good to me.. just don't forget to spread out veggies evenly throughout the day. 2 cups of acceptable salad veggies and 1 cup of other acceptable veggies. It's important to get your greens.

      that looks great. dont forget your veggies. i always to 1.5 cups with lunch and 1.5 cups with dinner. most of the time that equals 2 cups of letus and one cup of other veggies mixed in the letus.

      eat until you are full because you can always go back for a little more. everytime i sit down to eat i always have a 20oz bottle of water with me. that gets finished with my meal and helps me feel full. since you have to drink a lot of water that helps get in the amount you need for the day.

        Remember, though, it isn't eat as much as you want..it's eat until you are satisfied and no longer hungry.. And you must have your veggies, everyday. You also might want to add some fat in there to keep you from getting hungry more often. Cook in butter, or olive oil.. maybe some cheese too. And don't forget your water Good luck!!

            actually it is eat enough to satisfy your hunger, not fill your belly.That is a big mistake many new folk make. Eat only enough food to satisfy your hunger and STOP even if you giot room in your belly, food on the plate or carbs in your budget. You can eat again on Atkins as soon as you get hyunger again.

            Oh and be sure to eat those 3 cups of veggies a day. You are laying the foundation in induction for your house of Atkins healthy eating for the rest of your life. Owl will be the timbers and Premaintenance the roofing. Make sure your foundation is solid and will last a life time.

              I just want to add to what 2big said, cause over eating has been one of my biggest problems. You might find that 2 eggs are plenty, and you don't need four for breakfast. What I found helpful was to eat 2 and then just in case that didn't get me thru til Lunch, have something already planned for a snack.
