  • Should I buy a scale for Fitday?

I've been entering my food into Fitday just too prevent mistakes.

It caught me once with Mussels... anyway.

I've been mostly eyeing my food. 2oz of cheese, 5 oz of steak etc...

The problem is that the margin of error here is high.

Should I just buy a scale and keep it around with me?

I would ...I don't think you have to measure for ever, just untill you are really comforable with serving sizes and then once in a while to make sure your still "guessing accuratley".

You could probably find a list somewhere with tips on how to figure out the amounts of foods, such as a 1" cube of cheese being 1 oz. Fitday also usually has optional ways of figuring your foods to help with that, but a scale would of course be most acurate.

If you get one, let us know how it goes. I've never gotten that exact about it and usually measure by how much of a cup.
