  • cheese help!

I'm scared that I am eating too much cheese..
how much cheese do you each consume a day?
and how do you measure out your 3-4 oz. you can have?
i know in the book think of it as the size of a dice, but i dunno, it's hard for me to really tell how many oz. of cheese i am having.

    any suggestions are good ones!
    Thanks!

    Re: cheese help!

I eat plenty of cheese, but never over 4 ounces a day. Here's an easy way to keep track: cheese slices are typically 1 ounce each, and if you eat cheese cubes (love those and melt them all the time on Sweetballs!), the limit is half the 8-ounce bag.

I never weigh my food; I only use my food scale for weighing packages for postage!

      Re: cheese help!

If you know how much the whole pack or block of cheese weighs (check the label) then you can divide it into 4 ounce (or even 1 ounce) pieces.
If it is a pound block then just split it into 4 equal portions and you will know each piece is 4 ounces. Split each of those into 4 equal portions and you will have 16 ounce pieces.
Then just keep count of how many of those small pieces you have each day. Before long you will be able to look at the cheese on your plate in restaurants and know how much you have been served.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
