  • my last few pounds

    I am just about 6 pounds away from my goal, and i have been at this weight for over a year. I have read the book twice now, and everytime i move out of induction, i gain what i lost in induction. I feel like I just have to go back to induction all the time. I exercise each day, and lift weights 5 days a week. I'm a very active person. I drink a lot of water. I just wish I could lose these last few pounds. Do you recommend that I complete a full 2 week clean induction again, or should i extend the induction until i have lost all of my weight? I just hate the fact that each time I leave induction, I gain weight.

    Did you read the book? If you wan to leave induction you should go to OWL and then figure out what your CCL is...

      I second Kevin's suggestion that you read up on OWL (if you havent your book handy take a look at the stickies in the Ongoing Weight Loss forum) and once you are back in ketosis move straight on the the first rung.
      If we only do induction we never learn what triggers cravings or upsets our bodies, nor how many carbs we can eat and not gain weight.
      You need to start adding the different food groups in the correct order and quantities soon.

        During the times you've left Induction, what did you do in terms of diet?

        Did you go through OWL---adding only 5 net carbs of OWL foods, beginning with Rung 1 (more Induction veggies)? Or did you start adding in foods with no real organization?
