    Re: What's For Dinner Tonight?

Tonight? Chicken/bacon/shrimp (I cook the chicken & bacon together with some Montreal Garlic Chicken spice, drain the fat and add shrimp and parm) as a base for a big, huge salad with Ranch. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.

Going out to dinner tonight with some friends. We're going to an authentic Italian restaurant (definitely not a McPasta place). This restaurant makes a great bisteca a la Florentina (a porterhouse steak cooked Florentine style) and a great wilted spinach salad.

Have a pork roast in the oven as we speak, I hope... Left BF explicit directions for starting it. Take out of fridge, put in pre-heated oven!! Already had it seasoned and ready to go. AND SALAD of course. Maybe some fresh green beans & more

                    Re: What's For Dinner Tonight?

Last night we had tacos. Ground beef cooked with Rotel Tomatoes. Served with guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese and wrapped up in lettuce leaves. I think next time I'll do this stuffed pepper style, with the sour cream and guac served on the side, of course.

Tonite, we're having salmon. I'll grill it with olive oil, salt and pepper, and fresh dill. I'll make fresh green beans with lots of butter to go on the side.

I'm still deciding what to have tonight...I'll either have an "everything" omelette or I'll have chicken faux-jitas (grilled chicken, sauteed peppers, onions, salsa, guacamole)

Not2late, that just so cute chicken faux-jitas!! I get those all the time at the mexican place on the corner. They're always amazed when I tell them no bean, rice & tortillas - extra lettuce!!
I've got a couple of yummy rib eyes out for tonite and definitely need to do the green beans TONITE!! and salad. This is day 3 and I'm down 4lbs & someone even said I looked like I was losing weight! I'm shocked... oh & happy.

Well, I'm having pork. No exactly sure what to do with it yet, but its there and we will cook it. Will probably just season it and grill. Nice big salad to go with it. Or green beans.........hmmmm.

Yeah, I know, sounds boring compared to everyone else's menus.

I'm going to drink more water now and stop thinking about food. LOL
