I just wanted to re-introduce myself. I am a mother of three and a wife to one. LOL. I have lost 25 pounds since April and in the last month I have been cheating, well really its like a sabbatoge. Everyone was telling me how great I was looking and instead of that encourraging me to keep on going to goal, I got comfortable and started cheating. Telling myself "one bite is okay. you deserve it." Well, after 4 weeks, I am up 4 pounds. It really should have been more, thankfully I do alot of walking as exercise. It is really dissappointing though. Noone wants to gain. I am starting Induction over again today. I had a great day, but I gave into the low carb icecream tonight and then I remembered this board. The ice cream is gone, I know I can't have it in the house anymore. I'm gonna start again tommorrow and do a clean induction. Can't wait to get back into ketosis, it seems like it was so long ago.

Re: I'm back and starting over
Welcome back msmagee! I fell off the wagon, so to speak, the same way. Had been told I was looking great and didn't need to loose any more. Well I listened and here I am back starting all over again.
You're on the right path ditching the ice-cream.
Stop down and see us in the STAC (Second Time Around Club) forum.

Re: I'm back and starting over
I know what you mean-- Unfortunately we (well some of us) were raised with food as a reward system.... Next time someone tells you how great you look, head to the mall, head to the department store, heck run to Walmart and buy yourself something.. (that's not food) Even if it's just a small something.... Try to change your reward system... You can do it !!Kelley

Re: I'm back and starting over
Yep, treat yourself with small things with every success. My fav is new makeup. Love lipsticks. Oh and of course, shoes. But cannot spend that kind of money with every success.
Best wishes for your second time around!!
