  • Results from first 2 Weeks

Well Sunday was our (me & DH) 2 week..... We did pretty good I think.

My husband lost 21 pounds- stinker

I lost 10 pounds... I can tell I'm retaining some water because it's that TOM- which I thin has screwed me up a little...

But we both feel great and have more energy. The cool thing is that I have to REMEBER to eat... Huh? Who would have thought..

We are going to continue Induction at least until October... Maybe longer as we both have so much weight to lose...

    That's great for you both!

Re-read Chapters 12-13 in DANDR 2002. That will give you more insight into your 14 day Induction weight loss and will give you an idea of what to expect on this diet and what your Criticial Carbohydrate Losing Level is, which gives you an idea of how many carbs you can eat and still lose weight.

Remember, you aren't bound to 20 net carbs daily for the rest of the weight loss phase. Dr. Atkins said that the people who have a high metabolic resistance to weight loss are the ones who can benefit from staying on Induction longer than 2 weeks. The rest of us can move onto OWL, eat more carbs, eat more food groups and still lose the weight we want to lose.

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful!!! Doesn't it feel great!!? It sucks that men can lose so faster than us women. But the key is that you're losing and this WOE is the absolute best!! Keep up the good work and don't forget the water.
