  • Time for two more weeks a.k.a I am baaaacckkk! :)

Well, I have been on Atkins' for quite some time now (over a year), but I feel the need to drop back into induction for 2 weeks. Perhaps I will drop the final few vanity pounds, but if not, that's ok. I simply feel the need to "get back to my roots" and work my way through the rungs again. Granted, I won't be spending and extended periods of time in each rung, but I think it would be good to remind myself how I got to where I am. I will be checking in over the next few weeks, and I hope you all get after me if I miss a water goal, or a day of exercise.

Thanks, Elsie150. I am just heading out the door for Judo, and I have my water bottle in hand.

Careful what ya wish for, Tom

I'm a recent come-backer too after I've put on a few lbs in the last 5 months. Nipping it in the bud now and like you - getting back to the roots I know so well and work for me so well.

          Welcome!

Glad you're here and didn't give up, thats a plus! But how did you fall off of Maintenance? Did you stay too long on each rung? If so, how will you do it differently? I really want to know this info. because when I start OWL which will be soon, I want to be alright. BFN

Brook - Thank you, I look forward to your progress posts as well. How about one of us start a post and update our exercise, food, and water for the next 14 days?

**Nikki** -- I actually never fell off maintenance. I have been floating around 2-5 lbs. over the goal I set for myself for about 6 months now; however, I feel it would be good to work through everything again. Perhaps I will drop those last few pounds, but this is more to remind myself what it took to get here. It is something I never want to forget. Not because it was bad, mind you, but because it was so important and had such a large impact on my life. To the contrary, this has been a wonderful experience for me. When you start OWL make sure you ask _any_ questions you might have. They say knowledge is power, and I will tell you what, who ever they is, sure knows what they are talking about.

                Tom - You're on!

We have an exercise challenge that's just started this week in the Exercise Challenge Forum - you might want to mosey on over there and sign up <poke><poke>

We have a daily check in thread as well in the Second Time Around Club (STAC) , as well as a water challenge in the same forum lately.

Those are a couple of options to keep ya busy - and if that's not enough , I'll see ya right here.

                Nice to meet ya!

Elsire150 - heh Thanks. I had a good time, and got a good work out too. Tonight is Tae Kwon Do . I hope to test for my second degree blackbelt in December, so I have to bust my rear.

New_Me_In_2005 -- Thank you. I would love to hit my goal. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't mind going past my goal .

Brook --- I will have to check those out today from work. I am heading out the door, or should be, as I type this, but I would love to add some accountability to my water, food, and exercise. Plus, that gives me an excuse to talk to everyone.

                          Welcome back..

I started back on induction today too after a year and a half on atkins and 8 months at goal. Up 7 lbs at the moment, didn't cheat etc, not sure why it happened but think i'm going to do the same as you and go back and starting the process again. maybe i can figure out what my problem is.

Brook, i will have to pop by the second time around club as well..never had thought of it
