  • I just have to do it...

Yes I have jumped on the scale every morning since I statred (Monday 8/15th). It is one of my graet motivators to keep me doing good. I LOVE THIS! day six and I am down 9 pounds. Oh Yeah! Doing the happy dance!!!

I know that this will slow down and the weight will not fall off this fast - but until I am done with the 14 day induction I am stepping on the scale ever a.m.

We went to a BBQ last night and I made jalopenoes hollowed out with cream cheese in them wrapped in bacon. They were a hit. Doesn't seem fair that I only got 2 of them but I am a giver! LOL

Iowa State Fair is today (Keith Urban - here I come!) - so I am off - I told my husband to be ready to smack me if I try to eat any bad choices. I do plan on eating fair stuff but I am challenging myself to fine the best choices. So it may mean more walking and really is that a bad thing?

Whoo hooo!!!!!!!!!!! for the loss! Induction is great for weight loss, that is why I stayed on it. I am on my 21 day of it.
Careful with the scale thing, it can hit you hard when you don't see the numbers going down. It happened to me. I lost sight of the good things happening to me(clothes getting looser). I had my husband hide the scale and not bring it back out untill I had to weigh for the 6 weeks challenge. Good Luck and have a lot of fun at the fair!

Congrats! I'm sure you'll find good stuff at the fair to eat... meat on a stick, sausages, etc. Sounds like it'll be fun, so maybe you won't be tempted by the food as much with everything else going on there. I'd love to see Keith Urban!

I also weigh everyday. I do more harm than good when I don't know what I weigh, so I need to do it. I never let myself get psycho about it.

Onederland is right around the corner, so keep this momentum going and you'll be there by the end of your induction!!!

congrats. HAve a great time. make sure you take some low carb snacks for you just in case you can't find any at the fair. Make sure you drink plenty of water too with all that walking.

At least carry some veggie sticks around with you! When I went to the PNE last summer I found that there was tons of meat but very little veggies to choose from.

Congrats on the 9lbs! Hope you took your measurements too as there are sure to be adding up...or is that down...fast right now. Have fun at the fair. Drink your water.

Nice one!!! I am on day two and was tempted this morning. I lost a lot of weight last year for my wedding but then got pregnant on honeymoon and so put it all (and more) back on again! Oh well, back to Atkins for me.

Your jalepenos sounds fabulous! I have never seen whole jalepenos here in the UK otherwise I would try it.
