Re: Induction over and good news!

      Thanks Finelly!!
I think I am going to go to extended induction. For at least a week or so anyway. I haven't managed to get my carbs up to 20g yet and I just learned from Brook that the 3 cup thing is more of a guide line to make sure we don't go over. So I am going to work more this week at that and maybe adding a few more vegies or some of the limited stuff...like the lemon juice...stuff like that. See how I do with that and then move on up as I have read lots of posts about people going from extended induction to OWL only to see their weight start coming off better.
I have a lot to lose so an extra week or two won't hurt me...but I do want to move on also because I would like to eat from the other rungs.
      Thanks again Finelly!

Well done! Just remember, you don't have to eat 20g's of carbs a day, but you do have to eat those three cups of veggies every day on induction. Don't be afraid of OWL as the first rung is the veggie rung which is just adding 5g more of those same induction veggies.

Re: Induction over and good news!

Thanks you guys! Basking in my accomplishment here. DH came home after 2 weeks away last night and this morning he asked me how I am doing and if it was working. I just smiled sweetly and told him to tell me when he notices a change.

Isabeau...I'm not afraid of OWL..in fact looking forward to doing the rungs. I have given this a lot of thought. The first week I had a lot of trouble bring calories up...and I still struggle with that but learned a lot from it. This second week I am learning more about balancing everything out and am getting better at it. I feel I need more time to learn how to walk the WOE life before I start to run with it. I plan on doing this right and reaching my goal and keeping it off...because if I can't succeed at this WOE I will not succeed at any and will just spiral downward...so I don't mind the baby steps...I plan to be around for awhile. But believe me...I am really really looking forward to some of the rungs!!! YUM!

                            Thanks again.
