I made it through my induction period and will be moving on to extended induction. Just wanted to let you know my results from these past two weeks. The first week I lost 12 lbs. Yeah! Finelly reminded me to take my measurements. So even though the first week was over I went ahead and took them.
First day of the second week I stepped on the scales and found that I had gained 3 lbs. I thought "what in the world" I couldn't understand it I was following exactly as I was supposed to. Making sure that I stayed under 20 carbs, drinking all of my water, exercising, etc... I weighed the same weight for 4 days. Then I decided to start looking around the website and that's where I read about BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) and realized that I was so focused on my carb counts that I wasn't making sure I was eating enough calories for my BMR. So needless to say I am now making sure that I get enough calories and still staying under my 20 carb limit.
This week I lost 1 lb, but more importantly I lost 13 1/2 inches!!!!! Yeah!!!
If you haven't measured yourself do! (It'll be worth it!)
So I have now lost a total of 10 lbs and 13 1/2 inches!
