  • 2-weeks complete!

2-weeks complete and I lost 10 pounds. Even though I didn't do a complete clean induction (a few too many margarita's one night. ) I am still very pleased with the results.
However when I took my measurements I had only lost 3.5". I know there is more inches lost because I can get into jeans that were way to tight before. I was wondering if I am putting the tape measure at the same spot each time.....the stomach is easy because I can go by my belly button......chest is easy because there are guide lines there also but arms, hips and thighs are a different story. Can anyone give me a helpful hint?

First, your siggy says Sept. 15 as a start date and I think it must have been August 15

Brook had a great tip to use an identifying marker like a mole or freckle for your measurements. I just go for the biggest part and measure there!

Good for you. Re-read Chapters 11-14 in DANDR 2002 so you can see what your degree of metabolic resistance to weight loss is and will help determine what you should do next. Typically, the people with average to low metabolic resistance do better if they move onto OWL.

As for measuring your arms, hips, and thighs...

This site tells you how to measure your hips.
      https://www.healthenvelope.com/healt.../weightmeasure

For the arms and thighs, you can choose a spot, like 3 inches above your elbow or 6 inches above your knee. If you have anything like a scar or moles/blemishes on your arms or thighs, you can use those as "markers".

Woohoo ajakol! Excellent results for induction!

For me, I also measure the largest part of the bit I'm measuring.

If you go to a site like OldNavy.com, you can click on their measurement guide for an idea of where measurements are generally taken.

Weigh to go Ajakol are you moving straight onto OWL or staying on induction a while longer?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
