Kelcie, I have taken the liberty of reposting your question from a week ago which was buried in another long thread as I noticed it had not received any responses yet.

As no-one else has piped up, Kelcie can I ask you a question?

What sort of food do you like to eat? If you can list some off the allowed list that you do eat at present maybe some of us can come up with some recipes that use those ingredients.

The nicest meals are often easiest to prepare - just grill some meat (maybe marinade it in something first) and throw together a salad of the things on the list you like, or cook some broccoli or other green vegetables to go with it.
If you need to up your fat (we aim for 65% fat/30% protein/5% carbs on induction) then use a 'legal' dressing with a salad or add butter or cheese to the vegetables.

        Kelcie...

I keep my meals very simple, and pretty much the same, for budget reasons, as well as knowing that what I am eating is legal without having to fuss too much about it... I put together a Days worth of things to eat each morning, and just kind of take from it durign the day. I carry bacon or sausage and fried eggs, a salad, a tub of chopped veggies, grilled meat leftovers, a string cheese, some olives and dressing to dip the veggies in. If I am hungry, which I am finding I usually am not, I will have grilled or baked meat and a green veggie, broccoli, green beens or asparagus at night, if I can spare the carbs, of course.

A lot of the recipes posted all over, like the neverending recipe thread in STAC forum, are fairly simple, if you just go through them step by step. I find that I am able to eat the same basics if I chagne the spices or types, for example, steak off the grill as is one night, leftovers from that steak dipped in sourcream/hotsauce mixed the next..

        No wasted carbs.
        Water intake .5 -1 gallon.
        Exercise 60 minutes 5x week

I buy chicken like you wouldn't believe.

I've dipped the chicken in butter and hot sauce (as in frank's red hot) and had buffalo chicken. Delicious!

Chicken in parmesan cheese and then fried in oil. Delicious!

Eggplant dipped in parmesan cheese and then fried. Delicious!

Steak strips over a salad with crumbled mozzarella cheese. Yum!

Grilled chicken and steamed broccoli topped with cheddar sauce. YUM!

I'm feeding a family of 4 on less than $90/week including diapers and toiletries, so I don't have $ to blow either! We can eat delicious food on a budget!

i'm having troubles with what too eat.
Then you need to look at the Acceptable Foods list here:
            http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ead.php?t=6781

and while you're at it you can look through the Rules of Induction here:
            http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ead.php?t=6782

So, take the advice of the others---look through the Acceptable Foods List and see what foods there you like to eat. Make a list of them if you need too. Then you can look at the recipes here and other places to find dishes that you would like using the foods off the list you like.
