Where to buy a tape measure?

Hi all,

I've been browsing the forums the past few days, and started my Atkins trek a couple days ago. That devious scale says I've already lost 5 pounds, but I am a bit skeptical, so I would like to use a more accurate tool, like a body tape measure.

So my question is: Where can I buy a body tape measure in Canada? The local Shoppers Drug Mart didn't have any, and I searched online for a company/person who ships up here, but the shipping costs are about 3x the cost of the tape measure itself.

Try a sewing store or dept. I bought mine in the sewing isle at walmart.

She's right. I just use the one I've had in my sewing basket. Try Wal-Mart or any other store that has a sewing section...or a fabric store.

I bought it in Target or in Walgreens..can't remember where I found it. I think it could have been CVS. It was in the sewing aisle. Don't know about Canadian stores. It was only about $1 something though.

Thanks for the speedy responses! It turns out that I had one with one of those sewing kits that people keep in the hallway closet upstairs and forget about it!
