Didja eat a lot of salty food yesterday? could just be water weight.

Regardless, it is NOT fat weight, cause you can't gain that much FAT overnight! LOL

To gain one pound of fat you need to eat about 3500 calories over what you normally eat. So unless you ate an additional 24,500 calories yesterday, you can pretty much chalk this weight gain up to water retention.

Whew. Ok, i started drinking around 120 ounces of water yesterday, so maybe it's just slowly filtering out.

a few other things i check when weird stuff like that happens...

            - salt intake (retention) - cure - drink water till you cant drink no more! flush it out of your systems.

            - caloric intake - sure you may be in ketosis, but if you eat more calories then you burn, you will still gain.

            - battery - dont laugh... my damn scale is battery operated... i started having massive fluctuation from day to day... turned out to be the AA's were on the out

            - lack of water intake - seriously... even though its counterintuitive, drinking MORE ounces of water will results in a lower weight over time. when i slip down from ym 100oz a day, i notice a direct corellation to my weight loss slowing down.

            hope these help,
