Luckily the cafe had fries, and I ate a little of those. I also had a little bit of a Chicken tortilla and my headach Vanished!!! Then my stomach ached a little and I had to run to the bathroom. Anyhoo I feel so much better Now!! Glad thats over!!!!!!!!!! I looked at my keto strip and Im still in ketosis, I have even lost 4 pounds! Im not saying that Im going to do this everyday, but why did I feel so horrible and what can I do next time to avoid eating things with carbs in it!!

You've just got to butch it out and have faith. It helps if you organise things so that the 5th day or so of Induction falls on a weekend, or on a day when you can take things easy. I was exactly the same as you -- I felt truly dreadful. But on Day 6 I woke up with miraculous amounts of energy and feeling fabulous, which has been my state ever since.

I guess you know that eating the fries is not the solution -- it means you're going to have to go through the whole headache thing again? Next time, drink giant amounts of water and try and take it easy. Best of luck.

Headache and feeling faint can be signs of low blood sugar. What did you eat for breakfast this morning? You might need to eat more food at your meals in order to help you last between them. However, if you need to eat a snack, there are PLENTY of legal snacks you can eat: hard boiled eggs, a slice of roast beef, cheese. You can even eat a light meal, like a green salad with dressing and some kind of protein, or cheese and some veggies.

By the way, don't put all your faith in those ketostix. They tell you that you are breaking down fat. But they don't tell if that fat is from the food you ate or if it's the fat on your body.

and if you ate it TODAY... it probably hasn't time to kick you out of ketosis yet....
