I've read a lot of varying things on them- from both ends of the spectrum (no pun intended
).
It's not something I would do, personally - unless held at gunpoint, but I do know people who swear by them.
Evaluate your reasoning behind (heh) it, talk to your doctor and go (heh heh) from there.

well actually a lot of people live by them. I know of several in the entertainment industry that are colonic devotees. I have done a lot of research and i trust that it will be fine. colonics date back to ancient Egypt. I am not worried at all.
