Don't know as we are off to a barbeque in a posh hotel tonight!!
I have been assured that not all the meat has been marinated in sugar but will have to ask and choose accordingly! I might put a few sachets of mayonnaise in my bag just in case!

Turkey (local supermarket has sale on rotissiere turkey this week)
Faux-mashed sweet potatoes (canned pumpkin puree heated with butter and alittle heavy cream added to it)
Wilted spinach salad with a warm bacon dressing.
Tonight I'm making a Picadillo recipe I found in a low-carb magazine I purchased a couple of weeks ago! I'll share the recipe tonight if it comes out any good. I'm making that, with turnip fries, and sauteed snow peas.

I have a class tonight. So last night, I boiled some chopped veggies with chicken broth. When I get home tonight, I'll pop that into the microwave with some of the leftover turkey for a yummy turkey-vegetable soup!
Tonight my mother and sister are coming over for our Stitch & B*tch night, and since my mother loves seafood, but can't make it at home (my brother is anaphylactic), I'm making us all my infamous shrimp scampi for dinner, with a side of sauteed snow peas & toasted almonds, and for them I'll probably add a side of whole wheat pasta of some sort. We'll see. My sister doesn't like shrimp, however, so for her, I'll probably throw something on the GF grill - a greek feta sausage, mayhaps!

Leftovers from last night's family barbecue: grilled chicken and grilled salmon. I'll probably toss the grilled salmon with some lemon juice and olive oil and have it will green beans. The grilled chicken I'll use for tomorrow night's dinner.
Crustless quiche with grilled courgette(zucchini) and boiled spinach.

You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it. ~Maya Angelo~
What is the best way to buy Shrimp to grill? If you buy "cooked cocktail" shrimp, can you thaw it and grill it and it be good?....If so that's what I'm having.

I usually buy the raw shrimp if I'm going to cook it longer than just heating it up in a stir fry.
