  • End of 14 days!

I just weighed myself and over the past 14 days, I've lost 8lbs. That puts me right at average metabolic resistance, as I've 50lbs+ to lose.

Oh, and an idea I had!

If any of you are able to remember back to your inductions, I think it'd be great if you'd include your level of metabolic resistance from induction in your signatures. I love looking at how people are progressing, and it would be nice to see how much (if at all) the initial metabolic resistance does affect weight-loss overall.

Way to go on your excellent loss!

I usually consistantly lose over 12 pounds in the first two weeks. This time around I lost about 19!

It definitely affects me. I've since gone on to lose almost 30 pounds in 27 days. That's a pretty high metabolism, I guess. That or the jicama sacrifice to the Atkins gods took!

Again, congratulations on your great success so far!

Congrats on completeing your induction!! What are your plans now?
Just for your info...I lost 12 pounds during induction...9 the first week and 3 the second week. Then did 2 weeks extended induction and lost 1 pound the first week and 2 the next week. Then I moved to the first rung..vegies...and lost 2 more. I am now on dairy and am pretty sure that I will show a minimum of at least 1 pound or more by Thursday.
Personally, I think you can't put a lot of store by the Metobolic Resistance chart as a lot will also depend on your body, exercise(how much, how little), ratios, calories, what kind of food you are eating(shakes and bars tend to stall people), etc etc.
Just keep reading the boards and the book and follow the plan and you will do fine...at least that is what is working for me so far.
        Continued success to you.

I'm sticking with Induction for a while. I don't feel in control enough yet to start moving up and I still have plenty of weight left to go.
