Let me explain where I am now...bare with me..hehe... I should start saying that I did Atkins a few years ago and lost a lot of weight. Then I got PG and after my baby I gained all back...
So I decided now to start it again. I *need* to lose weight, specially for health issues (PCOS).
WHen I decided to go on the diet I thought about doing a "modified" Atkins, that would include a bit more low-carb veggies (arparagus, brocolli, cucumber, etc...), but as I started the diet my brain automaticaly went into induction mode!
I was unconciously doing the induction... So, I decided to test my ketones and indeed I had it... first traces and some days around 40... (Ketostix).
Tomorrow (Tuesday) I complete 2 weeks. I'm a bit disapointed w/ my weight loss (7 Lbs. so far), just because I'm used to lose a bit faster before... However, I'm "looking" thinner than 7 Lbs less, kwim?
My DH told me just today how much thinner I look...
I was just dumb for not taking my measurements before dieting..
But, seriously, hoe much measure can one lose before it shows on the scale? I can't keep losing inches and still weight the same forever, right? Hehehe....
What do you think? Should I change anything? Why is been slower to lose the weight than the inches?
Did Atkins weight loss got slower after you had a baby?
