I found in Sam's Club some real bacon bits by Hormel. They taste divine but i read here to be mindful of things cured with sugar. I thought of using these bits as snacks also on my afternoon salad. I'm not sure how much sugar they contain the packaging doesn't report any but it's in the ingredients. It says 0 carbs. Now I'm wondering ifI made a bad buy? Anyone else tried these? Are they a go or a no?

Re: Hormel Real bacon bits and hidden sugar
For the initial 14 days, I would suggest staying away from them so you can get a good clean Induction done.
After that, it's up to you. Ideally it would be great if you could find sugar-free bacon, and make your own bacon bits, but that's pretty hard.
If you are eating a sprinkling of them once in a while, and you don't notice any weird cravings after you've eaten them, you're probably going to be fine, but watch your portion control on these.
