    GUys i had to weighin i know i said was going to wait till my end two weeks but......

    my mom is in the hospital (she had a stroke and she is fine now) but neway to pass time i sometimes like to wonder hospitals don't even ask why but there was the scale right there i mean just right there so i decide why not and to my discover i've dropped 15 pounds!!!! i'm so thrilled guys really i am i don't even know how to act i mean i really can't tel tell yet but i mean darn it its a start right? by the way i love this board

    Congrats! And glad to hear your Mom is doing fine now! Not to dampen your spirts but be aware that the hospital scale may be different from your regular one. So please be pleased with it no matter what lose it registers!! Keep up the great work!

      Wow..that's awesome!! If you look at page 158 in DANDR, you'll see that you have an average metabolism, which is good to know and it looks like you are right on track, losing over 10% of your desired amount..way to go!
      Now, absolutely not to burst your bubble, but give this a read

      so you know what you might see happening next and so that you know it's normal.

      Something that you probably already know is that each scale weighs in a little different, so your measurement may different on your usual scale.

          I have found that most hospital scales actually weigh you more, so you may have lost more!!!!

                Thanks guys. yes strokes are nastie iya but i mean I try not to worry too much and put my faith in god he has never let me down before and i'm just blessed she's up and about like normal talking and still fussing like normal (my mom can nag for hours lol) she will have to have some phy. therpy for her left leg to strength it back up but other then then that. Also i know all about the scales and differences but i told myself thur this weightloss journey the scale will not control me as it done so many times in the pass (but it sure is nice to look at those number being lower thanxs again
