Hi,
After my post on the main board and the reactions I got , I am now very motivated to start atkins.
Tommorow will be my first day of induction , and I have been thinking about my menu for tomorrow.
For breakfast I was thinking about two hard boiled eggs and a slice of smoked salmon. Midmorning snack (if I need it) maybe a small piece of brie. For lunch I'm planning a salad with tuna and mayo. Afternoon snack will be home made meatballs. For dinner I'm not sure yet , I'd be happy to receive suggestions (I eat everything but chicory).
I also have two more questions : I read the new diet revolution version 1992 and version 2002. In the 2002 version a lot more veggies count as salad veggies. For example in the 1992 version peppers are extra veggies , in the 2002 version peppers are salad veggies. Which book is more correct? I know the recent book were written by atkins inc , instead of the doctor. But he does state in his 1992 book that salad veggies should be those with a carb count of less that 10% and peppers have about 6 or 7 %.
Could anyone clear this up for me maybe?
My second question is a bit easier , last week I bought an atkins cookbook with summer recipes , does anyone know this book and any suggestions from this one?
Thanks,
Elke
