  • Is italian beef and sausage induction friendly?

Several co-workers are having a gathering at fast food place that serves burgers, gyros, ka-bobs, etc. I would really like an Italian combo (without the bread) that is italian beef and italian sausage. I'm sick of the kabobs!

    Thanks!

It depends what's in the sausage. Many sausages have carb fillers such as bread crumbs, "corn syrup solids", and other very non-Atkins things.

I'm with 2late! Ask what is in the sausage. I will only eat sausage I know has no fillers or chemicals, and unfortunately that means I have to stay out of the restaurants. Unless they prep their own meats there, chances are there are fillers.

You might try the non-marinated lamb? I love that stuff...

I agree that you need to avoid those sausages and only eat the ones that you know the ingredients for.

          Thanks for the replies.

I talked to the restaurant and they make their own sausage. They used ground pork, beef, onion, garlic, green pepper and fennel seed. I think this is all acceptable, right?

Anyway, I decided on a rotisserie chicken instead to be on the safe side.
