  • First day of induction and I feel WONDERFUL

Wow, this is the first day I stuck to it. I just woke up this morning and felt like, I'M GOING TO DO IT THIS TIME. This is a miracle to me, because for the past few months, I woke up doubting myself.

And I'm warm! Usually at this time, I'm wrapped up in my blanket or desperately warming myself up with carbs. It's 10:20pm here!

    Hope everyone's doing well!

Oh...how does my menu look? I didn't really have lunch. More like...2 huge snacks.

    B: Turkey and cheese omelette
    S: All beef hotdog
S: 2 small cans of snack salmon, 2 oz of cheese
D: One chicken thigh with skin and veggies

    Stats: 19/5"2/f

And I'm addicted to ballroom dancing.

Looks legal to me - but check your hotdogs for 'illegal' ingredients and excess salt.
Did you eat all your 3 cups of veggies for dinner? It is better to spread your veggies out across the day so as to avoid a big insulin spike at the one meal.
Maybe a few cherry tomatoes or mushrooms with the omelette, some spinach with the salmon snack etc?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

I try to eat a veggie serving with each meal or at least 2 of the meals. Spinach in an omlette is great. I also alternate with green pepper and onion in my omlettes. Right now I am eating 2 over easy eggs on top of spaghetti squash. It's great. Have fun trying new meal ides. Check out the recipe forum. Just make sure the ingredients are all legal for induction.

Congrats on feeling so wonerful on day 1. I didn't feel good until about a week later. Imagine how good you will feel next week. Way to Go!!!
