to losing weight. this is indeed a challenge, however i'm up to it. something i'm learning about myself is that i'm still immature in a way. i mean for example i will eat what is placed in front of me just like when i was a child. when mom sat your dinner plate in front of you, you ate what was on that plate. we weren't given too many options, it was what she gives or starve. also if given too many options i go wild. so i do much better with my eating when i plan my meals and have them prepared and ready to eat when it's time. i have my menu for the week posted on the fridge and i eat what it says i should eat when it says i should eat it. it's working for me. surprisingly i have been getting huge support from my family. grandma included . also i've found that the eating 5 small meals thing works . tricks me into thinking i'm constantly eating and tricks my body into thinking it doesn't need the excess fat. i'm shrinking i'll weigh again at the end of next week and post it...
i'm thinking about adding an avatar don't know what would suit me just yet though. i'm still not cyberworld savvy yet.

Hello, and welcome to the board! It looks like you're on the right track, planning your menus. It also helps for shopping purposes!

One thing I've learned is that that food on the plate isn't going to help starving kids in Timbuktu, so it's just as wasted going into our stomachs if we're not hungry as it is going in the garbage. That's a mistake we all make, assuming we have to eat everything on the plate in one sitting!
