  • Question

Hi everyone just joined this board today, i started the induction yesterday. Was wandering if eggs have to be included in your 20gs of carbs a day or are they classed as no carbs? Also i have the Dr Atkins New Diet Resoultion book and im a bit confused bout veggies whilst on induction on pg 123 it says u can have 6oz of salad plus 3oz of the other acceptable veggies which is wot i stuck too when i did this diet before. But then on page 126 it says u can have 5-7oz of the acceptable veggies if salad veggies dont exceed more than 8oz so i wos wandering which one is right or is it just another combination sorry if im sounding incredibly thick lol if anyone knows please let me know i would appreciate it.

You count the carbs to everything you eat and drink. Eggs have about 0.6 net carbs.

I'm guessing your from the UK. The 8 ounces is a volume measurement, not a weight measurement. There are 8 fluid ounces in 1 "cup". 1 cup is equivalent to 240ml. Soooo, the Induction rules state you may have 3 cups of the "salad veggie" list daily, or 2 cups of the salad veggies plus 1 cup of the other veggie list.
