  • day 4

    Hi all,
I have been struggling with induction for quite some time, so I keep posting on this forum, extended induction, and 2nd time around...
Anyways, (except for caffine) I have gone 3 days, cheat free (today is day 4). I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can do this. Night time is the hardest for me, but so far, I've resisted.
    How is everyone else doing?

I hear you, I'm on day 17 and still counting.....it is a little easier though. I still wonder shen I'm going to be able to eat my favorite foods but they say that it takes about 3 weeks to break a habit and start a new one. Keep going! Just remember, you won't regret it.

Good for you - I think the first three days are easily the hardest so you've got through them - and I totally sympathise on the night time thing. Now if I get hungry at night I go to bed although even that is difficult. Last night I detoured to the kitchen first, but managed to resist

                  Re: day 4

It's ok to have a snack in the evening if you feel you need one.
In time you will get back in tune with your body and learn whether you are actually hungry, or just bored and want to eat out of habit.
But for now, if you need to, have a devilled egg, have some meat and cheese...you probably don't need much of a snack to satisfy yourself, so keep it small.
There is no need to go hungry on this diet.
I used to plan my evening snack religiously and then in time I realized that there would be nights that I totally forgot about it.

great job! the worst is over. im on day 6 and have lost 7 pounds so far. it feels great! Night time is the WORST for me also. its so hard to resist it. i try and keep myself busy as much as possible. i find even though i snacked on cheese or bacon or a egg and im totally not hungry i still REALLY want a bar of chocolate. its awful but i know its just my old habits. It has gotten a little better everyday. anyways, good luck!!

Shashee, don't worry, I haven't cheated! I've just been jumping between 14 day induction, extended induction, and 2nd time around club. lol Anyways, I haven't cheated since last saturday, which makes this day 6 for me. I set a goal that I want to come back after the weekend, still cheat free.
