Re: Results after first week
That is great. I believe the average is 5-10% of your weight. I lost just under 5%...9 pounds for the TWO weeks total. Keep up the great work and don't get discouraged when the scale starts to move more slower. It will come off if you stick to the plan.Elsie150

Re: Results after first week
Thank u all for your replies, they are a bit looser shelia my problem area is my stomach and my waist and those terrible love handles lol, my legs and bum are actually quite small. Im hoping this diet will help these problem areas fingers crossed ive been swimming about 4 times a week i know its good for your legs and arms but anyone know if it targets the stomach and waist area? i really need some good exercises for that area. I dont really want to start the gym again any ideas? Thanks

Hi Firewoman,
I've seen big changes in my middle since doing aerobics. Pilates really works well too...concentrating on the core area. I know many, many use the Slim in 6 and other DVD's. You might want to check out the Exercise Forum...you might get some useful info!

Re: Results after first week
Hey Firewoman..
Pilates, core secrets, stuff like that will strengthen the muscles in your core area, with a girdling affect that helps a bit. Aerobics and any muscle, burns fat so swimming is good because it is a great aerobic exercise, and also is building those upper body and legs muscles, so it is like a double whammy, metabolically. But spot reduction doesnt happen on purpose. The rule of thumb is last on, first gone.. generally where you put on weight last will be the first place you lose it, and vice versa...
Check out the before and after pix, though... they are spectacular, and losing that last problem area would be worth the patience and wait!
