How come this is such a big no-no on induction? I am dying for something sweet and I know this will curve it...I'd rather have that than a diet drink.

BTW, I completely fell off the wagon and have to start induction again.

Jello Brand gelatin uses aspartame to sweeten their sugar-free gelatin. Aspartame is discouraged because Dr. Atkins found that it stalls or slows weight loss in some people.

Jolly Rancher has a sugar free gelatin sweetened with Splenda. If you can find it, you must count each serving as 1 of your 3 allowed artificial sweetener servings.

You can also make your own gelatin using unflavored gelatin, sweetener and flavoring.

One of the best pieces of advice I was given as a newbie was to kill the sweettooth. If you feed it, it will want more and more and more. Eating a high fat snack was what Dr. Atkins recommended. He also recommended 500 mg of L-glutamine.
