fitday % question please

  • fitday % question please

    Hi,
    I just entered what I've eaten today at fitday. My results are:
    60% fat
    10% carbs
    30% protein
    total calories: 554

    I went to cycling class for 1 hour and burned 593 calories

    Now, my question is, what do I need to do for dinner to have a successful day?

    you eat as much of your proteins, fats and budgeted for 20 net carbs as it takes to satisfy your hunger! Period nothing more nothing less. your body will tell you how much it needs to eat if you listen. your fats are a bit low so choice a higher fat cur of meat is the only advice I'd give you,

      thanks, 2 big, I'm very new at counting carbs. Since I was already at 15 today, I figured maybe i'd go over if I ate veggies tonight. Thanks for the advice.

        you need to figure out how much of your 3 cups of veggies you have left to eat and then find veggies in the needed to have amount that are very low carb like spinach which will cook way down and not stuff you either.

        I love cooked srained spinach mixed with creamcheese and stuffed under the skin of chicken or inside pork chops or in rolled up fish fillettes.

          Another suggestion is to plan your meals and snacks around your veggies. In other words, make it a priority to eat them daily. The other carbs you need to count: eggs, cheese, cream, etc. should be lower on the priority list than the veggies.

            I wouldn't allow Fitday to be your only guide in determing what you need to eat. How do you feel? Are you hungry? If you are hungry, I say eat, no matter what your Fitday score is.

            I only used Fitday to track my carb count and I pretty much ignored the other info. 20 carbs, no more, and definately no less.
