  • I'm Back

I have been away from the board for about 7-8 months and I am back wanting to lose this weight once and for all (20 lb would make a difference). Winter is here and my clothes are defintitely too tight. I refuse to buy a larger size. I know there is a specific amount of calories that one must eat and not exceed. I found the scale that calculates the idea weight. I would like the chart where you calculate the BMI and also the chart which calculates calorie intake and amount of calories not to be exceeded for my weight. Would appreciate hearing from you

Overall my goal is 50 lb.

welcome back to ADBB we don't do cal limits cause we learn to listen to our bodies and they will tellus how much food they need evry meal to stisfy hunger at the time we are eating. Some days it is very little and other is is a larger amount. listen to your body learn to recognize your hunger ands saity signa;s and stop eatting when you notice it even if you got food on the plate carbs in your budget or room in your belly.

But if I remember correctly there is a certain amount of calories you must maintain in order to burn off calories. As I remember correctly you must not under eat as well according to your body weight

I do have the Atkins diet book, which I am going to review, and I am also logged in on fit day.

I am going to used the chart: 65% fat; 30% protein & 5% carbs.
