  • 2 weeks and the results are........

I waited two weeks to weigh...not wanting to be a slave to the scale.
I eased on and watched....stepped off and was a bit disappointed. As I finished getting ready for work I was thinking about the number of pounds I lost. Seven! Ok...thinking of 7 pounds as in 7 boxes of margarine.....or 1 1/2 bags of flour! Thats a lot of weight!
To anyone reading this......I need to thank the boards for all the support.
For me....it truely inspires me and keeps me motivated.

    I feel like I'm getting a stomach bug....good thing = i'm not hungry
bad thing = no energy to exercise

      WooHoo for you!

7 pounds is heavy. Sometimes we fool ourselves into thinking that anything less than 10 pounds is not worth the effort of diet and exercise. But it IS.

Go to the grocery store and stuff 7 pounds of anything into a shopping basket and feel how much you lost.

I've lost over 60 pounds (last time I weighed). And I didn't appreciate how much weight that was until I dragged a 40 pound bag of compost onto my cart at the garden center last spring.

Always remember that the little things add up: each pound or each ounce that you lose brings you that much closer to your goal.

Thank you soo much for the words of encouragement!

I am very happy! It is a lot of weight to lose while eating such good food!
I don't even have the cravings for all the crap food I would devour. Had I not gotten back on tract...I am sure I would have gained 7! lol Serious!

        Thanks again.

Seven pounds in 14 days is 1/2 a pound a day so you should be proud! That is a very big number when you think about it. I mean, you just got rid of the weight of a small housecat or several hamsters. You are doing great!
