  • What would work...???

    Okay so im drinking my water, eating my veggies, my protein... but i seem to be a little lost on the exercise part! What should i do for exercise!? Hey Anyone live in Tracy or close to that...? Maybe we can pow wow and do it together... Anyways here hoping that everyone that comes across this post looses 3 lbs this week. HAPPY LOOSING GUYS!!!

    It is very good that you are adding exercise, it is a non-negotiable component of the Atkins lifestyle. Sounds like you are going strong!

    Any kind of exercise that moves your skeleton will work wonders. If you have not exercised for a long time be sure to stretch before hand, to warm your joints and allow fluid to cushion them, and move into your new routine slowly.

    I personally enjoy the Leslie Sansone 4 miler tape because they are easy to follow and you don't need any space. Of course I am living in Oregon, where it rains hard on a daily basis. I'm not always eager to get out in wet weather. Having the tape means I have no excuse for not getting some exercise.

    I'm also a believer in jogging, because if you stick with it for about six weeks, your lungs will expand and allow your body to take in more air. It really forces a physical change, just as ketosis does. It also gives your skin a general tightening all over and reduces stress.

      just walking is fine for a beginner just make sure you up your time distance and speed as you get in better shape so you can keep losing. Some folk like videos and start with walk away the pounds or other beginner tapes. Swimming is good any aerobic exercise you will do is the one for you. then add some resistance work and you will be a lean healthy atkins losing machine

      Post in the exercise forum and you will get all kinds of sugestions.
