  • Exercise Oh Exercise!!

This time around doing atkins I realize how important exercise is to my success so I have fully committed to it. I have just joined curves and absolutely love it. I have and am planning on doing curves about four times a week for 30 minutes. Five if I am really feeling it!! But other than that my lifestyle is very very inactive due to my job. I drive for probably about 75% of my job and the other part is either doing office work at a desk or sitting and reading stories to kids. Is this exercise enough?? Should I add more? Will I be successful on atkins with this regime?

    Thanks!

I do about 45 mins 5 times a week (treadmill and exercise bike). I'm on extended "induction" (I try to keep to 20-30 carbs daily). So far this is enough exercise, but I feel I'll have to ramp it up as I get closer to my goal (but that's going to be 8-12 months - 50 kgs to go!). I increase the speed and the incline on the treadmill each week, and I am up to level 4 resistance on the bike.

Exercise is great - keep with it. You've got that gorgeous picture to aim for - you CAN do it!

    Best of luck

if you keep your curves workout physically challenging to you then it is plenty. if you master the workout and loaf through it then now. Check out our BREN she is a curves instructor now and was a couch potato dragged kicking and screaming into the 6WEC in 2003. just keep working out as hard as you can each time and you will get to goal.
