some mustards are don't eat any sweet and ___ mustards look for sugar in the label too

remember you don't keep restarting you just go onward you will never get the same results and the actual 14 day results you wanted for determineing your CCLL and your metabolic resistance type but you know that so you don't use your 14 day results as the true levels for you and go forward.

figure out why you had the high carb chocolate and what you could have done low casrb. cocoa powder is a spice so it is legal as is butter, cream cheese and cream. mix a bit of powder about 1T with an ounce of cream cheese and you got some blobs and one of your daily sweetners and poof you could have had induction legal choclate instead. i divid it in to 4 servings, freeze them and then have a cool melt in my mouth chocolate .75 net carb treat when i need one.

Good work on starting a clean induction!

Be careful you don't do Atkins (eat lots of protein) and then fall off and eat
lots of carbs because this is the method sumo wrestlers put on weight! They
eat lots of protein then LOTS of carbs.

If you ever crave chocolate, you can always do a search on the board and
you'll find a recipe you like.

I wish you the best of luck!

poison--i have the same chocolate problem. I had a bit of a binge last week but i have been ok since monday. for me it is the hardest thing to kick. i tried the chocolate blob thing and it was great. have a look at a previous post in continued induction regarding tips from some of the posters here, they worked for me so far.

              Re: starting .........

Since my sweet tooth sets me up for craving, I've cut the allowed sweeteners from my diet for the time being. I have a penchant for hot chocolate with whipped cream - last year I found a splenda sweetened one that tasted really good, but it really undermined me - so this time I'm steering clear.

Do you have a stash of chocolate you need to give away so that it's not at your desk or at home to tempt you?

I'm an extreme noob and don't feel I'm qualified to give advice, but my wife found some Russel Stover Low Carb bars which have only 0.3 net carbs. They're about the size of a mini canybay, and full of sugar alcohols (24!!), but taste just like a butterfinger.

Lots of us count all the carbs in SA's, making a 'low carb' bar an expensive chunk of your 20 net carbs a day if on induction!!

If anyone is considering using these products take some time to read the stickies on Sugar alcohols and what they do to the body.

And make sure you read the list of ingredients in any you might be thinking of eating to confirm everything on the list is also on the list of allowed induction foods. Many of them have nuts, fruit, soya, wheat products in them so aren't suitable till you reach the appropriate OWL rung!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
