Congratulation on your loss so far Rayjay
Have you decided if you intend to start the OWL ladder after your 14 days or stay on induction for a while?

Re: I lost .............................................
I am very proud of you! I am starting Atkins tommorow. My wedding is May 6th of 2006. I have hired a personal trainer, have read the atkins book and have been reading all the on here for the past 2 weeks. I am 170 pounds right now and I want to be at 130 for the wedding. Is there anyone who can give me suggestions for these next two weeks. I love this board. I am so glad we are here for one another!

Welcome to our ADBB family, LaVonna
some tips I would give are:
if possible get rid of any non-legal induction foods from your kitchen
have lots of induction-legal food prepared to snack on if you feel hungry - devilled eggs, meat rollups, plain boiled eggs to name a few - focus on highfat snacks as they make you feel satisfied better than lower fat foods.
while getting used to the way of eating (woe) make sure you carry and refer to your list of 'acceptable foods' - the stickies in this forum and the FAQ forum are easy to copy/paste and print out for this. Maybe pin one copy of the list on or by your fridge?
drink your water - you ought to be drinking 64 fluid ounces (almost 2 litres) PLUS at least 8 fluid ounces (237 mls) of plain water for every 25 pounds you want to lose.
Plan to get some vigorous exercise in each day if at all possible - if this isnt possible at first try things like parking at the furthest point from your office and walking the extra hundred yards each day, walking up stairs instead of using the lift etc
Carry on visiting ADBB and supporting other members as you are doing now.
I am sure there are plenty more ideas on how to stay on plan out there - anyone??
