  • Day 5

    Hi all,
Well i am coming to the end of Day 5 and still going!! At work today i had a couple of moments of feeling a little sick. So i drank some more and kept going.
Oh, and last night I dragged myself out to do a quick run, and it really show me how unfit i really am!! It nearly knocked me out. So tonight i just went for a walk. I think i will have to work up to running.
Just a question - Pickles (Gerkins) are they cool for induction. oh and OLIVES??
    Thanks

Yes on both counts; however, there are limits. Have you read Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution yet in its entirety prior to starting this program? Rules about what is allotted during this phase and others are thoroughly addressed throughout the text.

In the meantime, here is a printout list! http://www.geocities.com/tams58/4sidecard.gif

      Re: Day 5

Check the ingredients on the gherkins and make sure they're not the sweet ones which contain sugar (although I hear there are some sweet pickles that contain Splenda rather then sugar in which case you'll have to make sure you count that) and olives are a special category food and one can have up to twenty olives per day. I agree with Sheila, the book will be your new best friend. We use the 2002 edition around here.
