  • Craving FAT!

Wow, induction has been interesting so far - past the 'flu' and instead of craving sugar all the time I'm craving fat now.

Can ya'all claify for me just how much fat i should be eating? I'm having 2 tsp of heavy cream in 32oz of Arizona Diet green tea twice a day, 4 .5litre bottles of water a day, 3 cups of veggies with Kraft carbwell dressing and 4 oz of cheese, and i am eating skinless boneless chicken breasts sauteed in olive oil and 'real lemon' juice - in the green bottle . . . and eggs/meat/cheese for breakfast every day since December 30th.

and I really really really want to just eat the pan drippings and not the chicken! (yes i'm a freak)

so, since i'm burning fat now for fuel how limited in fat intake should i be to facilitate and maintain bodyfat consumption? i need to drop 60-75 pounds to reach my pre-baby weight, but i've also lost a ton of muscle mass- used to weight-lift and bike before the kids and i was pretty muscular - so these pounds are fat.

    Thanks!

When the 'suggested menus were analysed the ratios apparently came out to 65% fat/30% protein/5% carbs.

The protein remains at about 30% all the time but the fat ratio gradually drops when you start adding carbs during OWL.

Many people use www.fitday.com to help calculate these figures.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

I love the fat on pork ribs!! In fact, I throw this together at least twice a week. I purchase a pack from my favorite supermarket, season them to perfection with garlic, onion, pepper, and some Splenda (THAT is the key ingredient), place foil on top, and 350ยบ it for 2 hours. Yumyumeatemup. They're even good cold as a late-night snack.
