65% Fat, 30% Protein and 5% carbs is the recommended, but I highly doubt anyone gets much closer than you did! You did a great job of getting it pretty darn close there! I'm not an expert, but unless we scientifically plan our food, I think you have done a great job of getting them in an acceptable range.

Looks good to me, Its hard to get it exact (like Jasmain said) cause some of the measurements are suspect. If you want to double check, post yesterdays menu so the folks can take a look

Having all your veggies in the same meal is probably more worrisome than your percentages. Keeping your blood glucose under control is better if you spread your veggie intake across the entire day. Loading up at night could lead to cravings and hence off the plan eating. The rest looks good though.

yep spread out the veggies to all meals so you have the perfect blend all the time of some carbs some proteins and some fats.

You could use lightly less butter adn your percents would be right on but if you need all that to saitisfy your hunger as you get your Atkins going them keep eating them.

            Happy low carbing.

Yes, cutting down on the butter would change your ratios appreciably, There is a good thread about altereing your fats here

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Yesterday(day 5) was the first day that I did all my vegies in one meal and I definatly noticed a difference in how I felt. I had a headache most of the day and an hour after I ate dinner I was craving more food even though I was still full. It's amazing how eating truly effects how you feel!

your headach and hunger were from the sugars being metabolized from your carbs as a bolus spikeing your blood sugar and getting an insulin response wich dropped it too low. Glad you were able to not respond to that blood sugar drop and allow the rest of your meal to be digested and raise your levels back to normal. Remember that feeling well as it will come in handy when you get to OWL and it reoccurs. you will know you have excedded your carbs at one sitting.

                    Happy low carbing.
