  • Day 9 & Crashing????? HELP

    I dunno what the heck is going on! This is day 9 of induction and my eating has been consistent for the past 9 days. Days 4-7 I felt just fantastic. Day 8 was a little icky, and today I feel like complete

    I can't think straight, have zero energy, very uncoordinated (tripping and dropping things) feel like I could sleep for days.

    What's this? I thought that after 'induction flu' this crashing was finished?

    I have reduced the amount of green tea yesterday and today from 64+oz/day to 24oz yesterday and 8oz today . . . tell me this is just caffiene withdrawl . . .

    it could be are you taking your vits and minereals with your Atkins foods? Check your Fitday if you use it in the reports section and see if you are low on any vits or minerals and take corrective measures there as being low on electrolytes can do that too.

    Hang in theree I did my caffeine withdrawal from day one and boy by day 3 I was ready to quit my head hurt so bad. if it continues call your doc to be sure it isn't anything else.

      Alrighty,

      So far today I feel much better! Last night was rough and full of cravings. I almost lost it. I know I had too much cream and too much caffiene, and I also ate about 3 tbsp of slivered almonds. THANK GOD I THREW ALL THE JUNK FOOD OUT OF THE HOUSE LAST WEEK!!!!!! Because I would have eaten everything last night.


      Today I'm eliminating splenda and heavy cream - I'm pretty sure those are the catalysts.

      Set up a fitday account just now, and I'm really diggin the custom food function! I'm tracking everything by brand and labeling, even water and gum!

        If that does the trick then try introducing one of them to see which was the culprit.

        It could also be the caffeine affecting you! Read this FAQ about the effects of caffeine and you might consider dropping that also to see how it has been affecting you.

          glad you are better Splenda is a trigger for cravings for me so i don't use it. We have several other Splenda challenged ADBB memebers so you are not alone if it was the splenda

            according to the link you provided i've been averaging about 1000mg of caffiene a day for a very long time! haven't had any today and no cravings either, so maybe that's the trigger. no tea = no splenda and no cream,so that's easy.
